Attention: when loosening and tightening the wheel bolt, the car must be raised on a jack, because if the wheel bolt is loosened by the weight of the car, the wheel bearing may be damaged.
2. Loosen the nuts (arrows). When installing, tighten to 40 Nm.
3. Slightly pull the drive shaft out of the wheel hub.
4. Remove the ball joint from the wheel suspension arm.
5. Bend the wheel suspension arm down.
6. Press the ball joint out of the steering knuckle using a puller (1).
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Use a T40 torx wrench to keep the ball joint pin from turning. Tighten the nut securing the ball joint to the steering knuckle to a torque of 70 Nm + 90°.
