Depending on the variant, the vehicles described have a front suspension either on shock absorber struts or on torsion bars.

The front suspension on shock absorber struts uses two shock absorber struts, two wishbones and a stabilizer.

The shock absorber strut consists of a shock absorber, a coil spring with variable winding pitch and a steering knuckle.

The stabilizer is fixed at the front to the frame cross member in rubber-metal bushings and connected to the transverse lever. The stabilizer reduces lateral forces when changing direction and prevents the body from tilting. The wishbone and stabilizer bar hold the shock absorber struts in the lower position. Above the wheel, the struts are attached to the body.

To adjust the camber of the front wheels, the frame is equipped with an eccentric transverse arm.

The wheel suspension consists of a steering knuckle on a shock absorber strut and a wheel hub.

The front suspension on shock absorber struts does not require maintenance.
