All-season oils are available for VWT4 engines. All-season oils have the advantage of being suitable for all temperatures (winter/summer).

The basis for all-season oils is a free-flowing seasonal oil (for example, 15 W). Thanks to the so-called thickening, the oil is stabilized in a hot state, so that under any engine operating conditions it has the appropriate lubricating properties.

When giving preference to all-season oils, it is better to turn to modern oils that have a high viscosity range (for example, 15 W-40,15 W-50). "W" in the SAE designation indicates that the oil is winter grade.

Easy flowing oil

Easy-flow oils are all-season oils that have been treated with a friction reducer, resulting in fuel savings of up to 2%.

Easy-flowing oils have low viscosity (for example, 10W-30). They are based on non-traditional oils (synthetic oils). When purchasing a light-flow oil, make sure it is approved for use by VW AG.
