The normal consumption of evaporation consists of its combustion in small quantities in the engine cylinders; from the removal of combustion products and abrasion. In addition, the oil wears out under the influence of high temperatures and pressures to which it is subjected during engine operation.
The oil consumption is also influenced by the external operating conditions, driving style, as well as tolerances in the manufacture of parts. Oil consumption must not exceed 1.0 l/1000 km. Be sure to add oil if the level has dropped to the mark "Nachfull" – refilling (refilling in this case no more than 1 l).
Attention! For machines with a catalytic converter, pay special attention to ensure that the oil is never filled above the maximum oil level mark on the oil level indicator (oil dipstick). Excess oil, in this case, as a result of incomplete combustion, will enter the catalyst and completely destroy it.
