Removal and installation the engine beam (VW Transporter T3)

When removing the engine, the engine beam may remain attached to the engine. If you only need to remove the beam, you should first support the engine, preferably with a thick board and a mobile garage jack. Unscrew the 3rd bolt connecting the engine to the beam.

Remove 2 bolts from each side of the engine beam from top to bottom

When installing the engine beam, the arrows must point in the direction of travel.

Tighten the engine beam mounting bolts to a torque of 45 Nm.
