Dismantling



The tank is accessible from the bottom, it is located behind the front door.

Disconnect the battery from ground.

Pump the fuel out of the tank.

Warning! Do not use open flame, fire hazard!


Place the car on jack stands.

(20-082) remove the filling pipe 1. To do this, loosen the clamp 2 on the filling elbow and pull out the ventilation pipe 3.

(20-083) remove ventilation pipes 1, 2, and 3 on the right.

(20-084) remove ventilation pipes 4 and 5 on the left.



(20-084) remove ventilation pipes 4 and 5 on the left.



(20-087) Remove the fuel inlet pipe from the fuel tank on the right and the fuel outlet pipe from the fuel pump on the left.

Unscrew the protective rails from the structure and remove their fasteners.

Lower the tank and remove the electrical wire from the fuel gauge sensor. Remove the tank.

Installation



Insert the tank and connect the fuel gauge wire.

Insert the protective strips into the fasteners and screw them in place.

Connect the fuel suction and return lines, see "Removal".

Install and secure the filling pipe and ventilation pipe with clamps.

Fill with fuel.

Connect the battery to ground.
