Dismantling for rear wheel drive vehicles
Remove the fuel tank.

(20-383) remove the sensor with a special or gas key.
Installation
Insert the sensor with a new sealing ring into the tank. Rub the ring with graphite powder beforehand.
(20-081) tighten the sensor with a gas wrench. The sensor must be installed so that the electrical input coincides with the dotted line. The arrow shows the direction of travel, install the fuel tank.

Dismantling for all-wheel drive vehicles
The fuel tank must be filled so that the fuel level is below the sensor hole (do this at idle).
Disconnect the battery from ground.

(20-512) Unscrew the sensor by the locking ring. The sensor is located behind the wheel recess, at the bottom at the back.
Installation
Install the sensor so that the float lever is vertical.
Tighten the sensor.
Fill the tank and check for leaks.
