Starter fault table
If the starter does not turn, first of all you need to check whether there is a voltage of at least 8 volts required for retraction at terminal 50 of the magnetic switch. If this voltage is less, you need to check the wires of the electrical circuits of the starter according to the diagram. Whether the starter operates at full battery voltage can be checked as follows:
- do not turn on the speed, ignition is on.
- connect the starter terminals 30 and 50 with a piece of wire with a cross-section of at least 4 sq. mm.
If the starter works perfectly, the wires leading to it are faulty. If this is not the case, then you need to check the starter, having first removed it. Before checking, make sure that the wires are securely fastened and not oxidized.
