Starter malfunction table
If the starter does not crank, the first thing to check is that there is at least 8 volts at the magnetic switch terminal 50 to retract. If this voltage is less, you need to check the wires of the starter electrical circuits according to the diagram. Whether the starter engages at full battery voltage can be checked as follows:
- do not turn on the speed, the ignition is on.
- connect with a piece of wire with a cross section of at least 4 square meters. mm clamps 30 and 50 starter.
If the starter works flawlessly, the wires going to it are faulty. If this is not the case, then you need to check the starter, after removing it. Before checking, make sure that the wires are securely fastened and not oxidized.
