NOTE: All items of luggage must be securely fastened.
To maintain good driving qualities of the car, it is necessary:
- distribute the load as evenly as possible;
- put heavy things as far forward as possible;
- secure all items of luggage in the luggage compartment with suitable straps to the lashing eyes.
WARNING: Loose luggage or other items can cause serious damage. Loose items in the trunk can shift and impair vehicle stability and control. Loose items in the passenger compartment can fly forward during sudden maneuvering or in an accident and cause injury to the driver and passengers. Always secure luggage in the trunk and use suitable tension straps for heavy items.
WARNING: When transporting heavy items of luggage, always remember that the vehicle's center of gravity may change, which in turn will change the vehicle's handling characteristics.
NOTE: To be able to remove air from the passenger compartment, the gaps in front of the rear must not be blocked.
Cover for long items of luggage
This bag can carry long items (e.g. skis), without polluting or damaging the interior of the car.
Loading and securing
Open the back door.
Open the hatch cover by pressing the button.
Fold the manhole cover down. Tilt the storage box between the rear seats all the way down.
Press the button on the cover in the cabin from top to bottom and fold it down.
Take out the cover for the long load and straighten it out.
Slide a long object into the case. Fasten the case with a strap.
Close the back door.
Laying an empty case
Close the hatch in the luggage compartment.
Fold the cover carefully. Close the lid in the cabin.
Luggage shelf
Covering the luggage compartment - pull out the shelf using handle A (pic. 1.68) back and hook it from the sides.
Removing the luggage compartment shelf
Unlock the shelf in the direction of arrow B and lift it up.
Please note that if there are clothes or other items on the shelf, visibility from the rear through the rear window may be limited.
NOTE: To be able to remove air from the passenger compartment, the slots under the rear window must not be blocked.
