Wheel bearing runout adjustment (VW Lt 2d)

1. Install the indicator on the hub with a preload of 2 mm and set the indicator pointer to "0" (figure 6.5).

2. Measure the wheel bearing runout by moving the hub back and forth.

3. Adjust the runout within 0.02-0.04 mm by rotating the fastening nut.
