Operating instructions — doors (VW Lt 2d)

Driver and passenger door

From the outside, the doors are opened and closed with a key.

• Unlocking: Turn the key to position 1, pull the handle to open the door.
• Locking: Turn the key to position 2.

Internal door latch

To unlock, pull the inner door latch in the direction of the arrow. To lock, press the inner door latch - the door is locked if a white field is visible on the latch.

Sliding door

From the outside, the sliding door is opened and closed with a key.

• Unlocking: Turn the key to position 1, pull the handle to open the door and push it back as far as it will go.
• Locking: Turn the key to position 2 to close the door, slide it forward by the handle until it latches.

Internal door latch

To unlock, pull the inner door latch in the direction indicated by the arrow. To open the door, pull the handle back until it stops.

To lock, press the inner door latch - the door is locked if a white field is visible on the latch.

Child lock

The lever is located in a recess on the end of the door.

• Lock: move the lever up 1 - the door cannot be opened from the inside.
• Unlock: Move the lever down 2.

Swing doors

Right hinged door

From the outside, the swing door is opened and closed with a key.

• Unlocking: Turn the key to position 1, pull the handle and open the door.
• Locking: Turn the key to position 2.

Internal door latch

To unlock, pull the latch in the direction of the arrow. Press the handle and open the door. To lock: press the latch - the door is locked if a white field is visible on the handle.

Child lock

The lever is located in a recess on the end of the door.

• Lock: move the lever up 1 - the door cannot be opened from the inside.
• Unlock: Move the lever down

Left hinged door

The left door can only be opened if the right door is open. To open the door, turn the latch upward until it stops in the direction of the arrow. In the open position (approximately 90°C) the door is held by a door stop.

Automatic blocking

When the right hinged door is closed, the left door is locked automatically.
