Querying the fault memory (VW Lt 2d)

1. Connect the VAG 1551 tester. The display should show the following information:

• LT HELP Diagnostics
• Dial function XX

2. Enter "02" to select the "Fault Memory Interrogation" function. The display should show the following information:

• LT Q diagnostics
• 02 - Fault poll

3. Confirm by pressing the "Q" button. The display should show the number of detected faults.

• X faults detected
• or
• No faults found

4. Press "→". If no faults are detected, the program returns to its initial position after pressing the "→" button. The following information should appear on the display:

• LT HELP Diagnostics
• Dial function XX

5. Press "06" to select the "Quick Data Exchange" function and confirm by pressing the "Q" button.

6. Turn off the ignition and disconnect the tester.
