Removal the clamping sleeve for the satellite axle
Unscrew the clamping sleeve (A) from the hole (B) in the differential housing using a 4 mm screwdriver.
Installing the clamping sleeve for the satellite axle
Align the hole in the differential housing with the hole in the satellite axle. Screw in the new clamping sleeve using the tool (1). The distance a should be 3.1±0.2 mm.
Installing the differential thrust bearing
Lubricate the thrust bearing with transmission oil. Install it so that the protrusion (A) fits into the groove (B) in the differential housing.
Differential adjustment
The differential must be readjusted when replacing the following parts:
- gearbox housing;
- clutch housing;
- differential housings;
- tapered roller bearings of the differential.
