Before removing the engine control unit, it is necessary to first request the identification data of the engine control unit with the coding of the previous engine control unit.

Removal



Turn off the ignition.

Remove the front wall of the water drainage box repair 50.


Remove the cap screws.

Unscrew the nuts (arrows) securing the control unit.

Unscrew the nuts (arrows) securing the control unit.


Disconnect the engine control unit connectors.

Disconnect the engine control unit connectors.


Bend the fasteners (1) and (2) outward.

Remove the engine control unit from the bracket in the direction indicated by the arrow.

Remove the engine control unit from the bracket in the direction indicated by the arrow.


Installation



Installation is carried out in reverse order.
