Replacing the bulbs in the rear lights (VW Beetle)

Removal

Loosen the Phillips head screws from the headlight lens until they come out of the threads (do not turn away completely). Remove the diffuser together with the frame and seal.

Remove the lamp by pressing lightly and turning it to the left.

Installation

Purpose of lamps:

• at the top - direction indicator;
• in the middle - brake light/side light;
• at the bottom is a reversing light.

Install the lamp so that the two protrusions on the base fit into the grooves in the socket.

Please note: The brake light bulb has two different protrusions on the base, so it can only be inserted into the socket in one position.

Press the lamp in slightly and turn it to the right.
