Front wheel alignment (shock absorber suspension) (VW Beetle)

The front wheel camber can be adjusted individually for each wheel by turning the eccentric bolts on the rocker arm. The transverse rocker arm mounted in the silent block can be moved to the side by approximately 12 mm, which corresponds to a camber change of approximately 1°.

The camber is adjusted with the wheels on the ground.

Slightly loosen the tension nut on the frame (maximum of one thread pitch).

Set the required value on the protractor and attach it to the wheel disk.

Rotate the eccentric bolt (see arrow) until the prescribed camber value is obtained.
