Removal and installation the ribbed belt (VW Polo 3)

To remove the ribbed belt:

• remove the right soundproofing casing;
• mark the direction of belt movement;
• using the key, move the tension roller in the direction of the arrow (fig. 4.3 a).

The ribbed belt route on an engine with air conditioning is shown in Fig. 4.3 b, without an air conditioning compressor - in Fig. 4.3 c.
