The vacuum pipes and hose connections must be tight. The vacuum pipes are not bent or clogged.

Verification procedure



Disconnect the vacuum hose of the secondary air injection valve N112 from the combination valve (fig. 2.304).

NOTE: Do not use compressed air for the following check.


Connect the VAG 1390 hand vacuum pump to the vacuum connection of the combination valve (fig. 2.305).

Disconnect the pressure hose connected to the combination valve from the coupling, connect the auxiliary hose to the end of the tube and gently blow into it. The combination valve should be closed.

Activate the hand vacuum pump. The combination valve should open.



If the combination valve does not open, replace it.
