Lubrication system — general information (VW Lt 28)

The engine is lubricated by an oil pump located in the area of the front wall of the distribution housing and mounted on the front of the crankshaft. Repair of the oil pump is not provided. It is supplied as a complete unit.

Oil cooler

The oil cooler is mounted in engines with recharging, between the filter and the console.
