1. The pendulum-type foot pedal is connected directly to the booster lever and rests on a crosspiece mounted on a support bracket.

2. Disconnect the pedal arm from the lever fork by removing the double and support pins.

3. Using a screwdriver, release the hooks on the ends of the pedal return spring.

4. Remove the roller pin from the end of the crosspiece, remove it and remove the pedal. Removing the roller pin is a very difficult job and sometimes it is easier to unscrew and remove the entire pedal bracket to gain easier access to the roller pin.

5. The pedal arm bushing can be removed and a new one can be installed in its place by inserting it using a vice.

6. Install the pedal back in place by performing the above steps in reverse order.
