Handbrake on indicator light — models after 1983 (VW Lt 28)

7. All models produced since 1983 are equipped with a handbrake warning light.

8. The lamp is controlled by a microswitch located immediately below the handbrake lever.

9. To remove the microswitch, unscrew its mounting screw (see photo), disconnect the wire and pull out the switch.

10. Installation of the microswitch is carried out in reverse order.
