| Electrolyte density is too low | The battery is dead | Charge the battery |
| Generator faulty | Check the generator, repair or replace if necessary | |
| Short circuit in the electrical wiring | Check the wiring contacts | |
| The electrolyte contains excess water due to improper battery maintenance | Bring the acid content to normal | |
| Electrolyte density is too high | Excess acid | Bring the acid content to normal |
| The battery output is low and the voltage drops | The battery is dead | Charge the battery |
| Charging voltage is too low | Check the voltage regulator and replace if necessary | |
