Removal
Fold or remove the rear seat.
Remove the protective cover of the positive battery terminal.
Disconnect (if present) the diagnostic connector.

Disconnect the ground wire from the battery first, and then the positive wire.
Loosen the battery bracket mounting nuts and remove the battery.
Installation
Thoroughly clean the battery terminals and lubricate them with special grease.
Install the battery in place and secure it.
Connect the positive cable to the battery first, then the ground cable. The ground cable must be connected to the vehicle body by direct and secure metal-to-metal contact.
