Safety instructions

There is a risk of accident when lifting a vehicle! Therefore, please read the section "Lifting a vehicle" beforehand.


Raise the car from the front onto jack stands.

Raise the car from the front onto jack stands.


Illuminate the outer covers with a lamp and check the rubber for porosity and cracks. Replace cracked covers immediately.

Inner covers not shown in the figure should be checked in a similar manner.

If any cover is pulled inward due to vacuum in the hinge area or is defective, it must be replaced immediately.

Make sure that there are no traces of grease on the covers and adjacent parts.

Check the tightness of the terminal clamps.

Lower the car.
