The underbody of the car, including the wheel arches, has an anti-corrosion coating. Particularly damaged areas near the wheel arches are additionally protected from stone impacts by plastic lining. Before the cold season and after washing the underbody, the condition of its protective coating must be checked and, if necessary, restored.
At the base of the body in the area where the wheels rotate, dust, clay and sand can accumulate. Removing the accumulated dirt, which in winter may also contain salt, is very important.
