Removal and installation of cooling system fittings (diesel engine) (VW Touareg 1)

Removal

Drain the coolant.

Remove the cooling system hoses from the fittings.

Disconnect the connector from the coolant temperature sensor G62.

Remove the mounting bolts of the cooling system nipple.

Push the cylinder connectors in the direction of the arrow into the cooling system nipple 1 (fig. 2.246).

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order, taking into account the following.

Replace seals 2 and O-rings.

Tighten the fastening bolts of the cooling system nipple 1 to a torque of 8 Nm.

Fill with coolant.
