The information plate is attached to the inside of the removable cover under the steering wheel and contains the following information: 1 - Production number; 2 - vehicle identification number; 3 - Model number; 4 - Model code/engine power; 5 - Engine and gearbox letter code; 6 - Paint/interior code; 7 - Additional equipment code.
Data on vehicle 2-7 is also found in the service book.
The type plate is attached under the hood on the right headlight carrier.
Vehicles intended for export to certain countries do not have a type plate.
Vehicle identification number (chassis number) knocked out behind the right front wheel above the side member.
Engine number
- on gasoline engines, it is stamped on the engine block at the joint between the engine block and the gearbox.
- on diesel engines, it is stamped on the engine block at the joint between the engine block and the cylinder head.
