A damaged or burnt exhaust pipe should be replaced.

The correct seating depth of the exhaust pipe in the muffler is of particular importance for good engine operation.

Caution! If the exhaust pipe is pushed too far into the muffler, there is a risk of engine damage due to overheating, which occurs due to excessive dynamic pressure in the muffler.

Removal

Loosen the clamps on the exhaust pipe. Remove the pipe. Sometimes the pipe is so firmly seated that it can only be removed after heating it with a welding torch (at the joints).

Installation

Push in the left exhaust pipe (total length 226 mm) so that the "b" dimension equals 220 mm. For proper installation, slide the ruler into it until it rests against the pipeline.

Align the right exhaust pipe with the left pipe.

Install new clamps and tighten them securely.
