Removal
Raise the vehicle and place it on supports.
Remove the exhaust pipe (see section above "Replacing the exhaust pipe").
Unscrew the 2 nuts at the rear of the cylinder head and remove the heat exchanger complete with the air guide shield for warm air.
Installation
Before installation, check the warm air damper for ease of rotation; if necessary, treat it with a rust-dissolving agent.
When installing, use new cylinder head gaskets and new self-locking nuts.
Tighten the nuts to a torque of 20 Nm (2.0 kgfm).
