Removal
Read and follow the safety instructions when working with the airbag.
First, disconnect the ground (-) cable from the battery, then the positive (+) cable.
Attention: Read the instructions in the chapter "Removal and installation the battery".
Insulate both terminals of the battery.
Turn the steering wheel to a position where the wheel spokes are vertical.
Release the lock to reposition the steering column.
Pull the steering column completely towards you and lock it in the lower position.

Insert a screwdriver with a working element approximately 5 mm wide into the hole on the back of the housing at the base of the steering wheel.
Press the screwdriver in the direction of the arrow. This releases the lock and the airbag assembly pops out slightly from the housing at the base of the steering wheel.
Turn the steering wheel 180° and release the second stopper on the opposite side.
Carefully pull the airbag assembly slightly out of the steering wheel.
Using a screwdriver, carefully press the stopper "1" of the -2~ plug.
Caution: Before disconnecting the plug connector of the ignition and ground wires, you must discharge static electricity from yourself by briefly touching the door locking wedge or the body with your hand.
Disconnect plug "2" of the airbag assembly and remove the airbag assembly.
Place the airbag assembly so that its elastic part faces upward.
Installation
Connect to the airbag unit "3" and lock the plug "2".
Place the airbag assembly against the steering wheel and press the assembly on the right and left until it locks into place.
Check whether the airbag assembly is locked into place in the steering wheel on the right and left.
Turn on the ignition.
Connect the positive (+) wire and the ground (-) wire to the battery.
Attention: Read the instructions in the chapter "Removal and installation the battery".
Attention: When connecting the battery, there should be no people in the car!
