Removing
1. Loosen the alternator mounting bolts.
2. Install the tension lever 3297, secure it with a spring ring and move the generator down with a wrench (pic. 3.3 a).
3. Remove the belt.
Installation
4. After installing the belt with a loose alternator, turn the crankshaft with the starter about 10 revolutions. Then tighten the lower alternator mounting bolt, then the upper bolt to 25 Nm.

Removing
5. Remove the ribbed belt cover.
6. Using a wrench, move the tension roller in the direction of the arrow and remove the ribbed belt (pic. 3.3 b).
Installation
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
