The piston protrusion at TDC is produced when installing a new piston (Fig. 6.17). Depending on the piston protrusion, the cylinder head gasket is installed (tables 6.3 a,b).

Identification of the cylinder head gasket is shown in Fig. 6.18.
Part number - arrow 1.
Control code - arrow 2.
Holes/marks - arrow 2.
Caution! Depending on the piston protrusion, a gasket of different thickness may be installed. When replacing the cylinder head gasket, install a new gasket of the same identification.
