The accelerator pedal of cars with 1Y engine is shown in Fig. 6.48 a, cars with AEY, AHB, AHU, AKW, ALE engines - in Fig. 6.48 b, cars with AFN engine - in Fig. 6.48 c.

Adjusting the accelerator cable

Set the accelerator cable to the full throttle position (press the accelerator pedal all the way down) and adjust the length of the cable by moving the lock (arrow) in the grooves on the outer casing of the accelerator cable so that the fuel injection pump lever touches the limiter (Fig. 6.49).

Removal and installation the accelerator pedal

To remove the accelerator pedal, press the pedal lock and (arrow), then carefully rotate the pedal pin until the pedal is completely removed (Fig. 6.50).
