Cooling system circulation pump (VW Transporter T3)

The turbodiesel cooling system includes an additional (see arrow) circulation pump.



(19-406) the pump turns on after the engine is turned off and the coolant temperature is above 107 degrees C and thus maintains the coolant circulation.

When starting, while the starter is running, the pump also turns on to avoid pump failure due to its long idle time, for example, in winter.
