Parts and components of additional and main mufflers (VW Caddy 3)

List of parts and components of additional and main mufflers with technological notes on repair to Figure VC2.227:
1. Additional muffler:
- manufactured as a single unit with the main muffler. Can be replaced separately during repair.
2. Suspension.
3. Suspension mounting screws to the body: 25 Nm.
4. Separation point: when removing the muffler, the pipe is cut at the specified point with a pipe cutting tool (see figure VC 2,228). The connection is made using a connecting sleeve.
5. Main muffler:
- initially forms a single unit with an additional muffler, but can be replaced separately during repairs.
6. Cross member mounting nut: 23 Nm.
7. Tunnel crossbar.
