Press the brake signal plug in and disconnect.
Turn the brake light switch to the left to release it.
Remove the brake light switch.
Installation
Before installing the brake light switch, the brake pedal must be fastened to the brake booster. Holding the spherical rod tip in front of the receiver, depress the brake pedal in the direction of the booster so that the spherical tip locks with a clearly audible click.
Pull out the contact pin -arrow- of the new brake light switch as far as it will go and adjust the switch.
Attention: Do not press the pedals during installation.
Insert the brake light switch with the tabs on it into the recesses of the pedal bracket and lock it by turning 45°to the right. The fastening of the switch must be reliable. When the brake light switch is installed in the pedal bracket, the contact pin is adjusted automatically.
Connect the plug connector of the brake light switch.
After adjusting the brake light switch, check if the brake pedal is in its original position (released) position.
