Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. The ring of the tension band must be cut (arrow) (Fig. 8.6).
3. Install the tension strap over the protective sleeve (arrow) (Fig. 8.7).
4. Press the clutch pedal all the way down at least 5 times.
5. Move the clutch release lever approximately 10 mm in the direction of the arrow (Fig. 8.8). The clutch release lever should move easily. The adjusting mechanism should be compressed.

6. Fasten the ears of the tension strap to the fingers of the adjustment mechanism (arrows) (Fig. 8.9).
7. Disconnect the clutch cable from the gearbox operating lever.
8. Remove the rubber bushing from the support on the gearbox.
9. Remove the glove compartment cover by first releasing its latches in the direction of the arrows (Fig. 8.10).
10. Unscrew the cover mounting bolts (arrows) (Fig. 8.11).
11. Disconnect the relay assembly from the supports. Do not disconnect the wiring from the relays or wiring harnesses.
12. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the clips.
13. Remove the clutch pedal cover from the support bracket (arrows 1 and 2) (fig. 8.4).
14. Disconnect the clutch cable from the clutch pedal (arrow) (fig. 8.5).
15. Unhook the clutch cable from the retainer (arrow) (Fig. 8.12).
16. Remove the clutch cable.
Installation
17. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
