Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Disconnect wiring connector 1 and release it from the retainer (Fig. 12.3). Disconnect wiring connector 2 of circuit 50 and wire 3 of circuit 30 from the starter solenoid.
3. Unscrew the top bolt 1 (M 12x180 mm) (Fig. 12.4). Unscrew the lower bolt 2 (M 12x180 mm). When installing the starter, tighten the bolts to 65 Nm.
Installation
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
