Diagnostics of faults in diesel engine injection systems (VW Polo 4)

Before detecting a fault using diagnostics, the following prerequisites must be met: conditions for starting errors are excluded. There must be fuel in the tank, the engine is mechanically sound, the battery is charged, the starter rotates at a sufficient frequency, and the electrical connection to ground (engine-gearbox-body) available. Read the contents of the fault code memory (at the service station).

Caution: If fuel lines are to be released, they must first be cleaned using cleaning agents.
