Removal
With the ignition off, disconnect the ground (-) cable from the battery.
Attention: Follow the instructions given in the chapter "Removal and installation the battery".
Turn the light switch knob to position 0.
Press the rotary knob of the light switch firmly "1" and at the same time turn it slightly to the right "2"
While holding the handle in this position, remove the switch by the rotary handle from the instrument panel "3".
Disconnect the switch plug.
Installation
Connect the switch plug.
Holding the switch firmly, press the rotary knob of the light switch hard "1" and at the same time turn it to the right "2". As a result, both locking hooks of the switch are lowered.

While holding the handle in this position, press switch "3" into the hole on the instrument panel.
Turn the rotary handle of the light switch to position 0 and lock the switch.
Turn the switch handle to all positions to check the strength of its fixation.
Note: remove and install the light switch on the IBIZA model in a similar manner. In doing so, remove the light switch and headlight beam angle adjuster assembly from the instrument panel as a whole.
