Manual transmission identification (VW Polo 3)

On Caddy cars manufactured since 1996, Polo Classic manufactured since 1996 and Polo Estate manufactured since 1998, 4-/5-speed manual transmissions 020/02K are installed in a complete set with four-cylinder engines. The location of the identification plate on the manual transmission is shown in Fig. 8.47 a, b, the letter code and production date of the manual transmission are shown in Fig. 8.47 c. The gearbox housing and gear shift mechanism are shown in Fig. 8.47 d, the gearbox housing and 5th gear pinion - in Fig. 8.47 d.
