Removal and installation deflectors (VW Polo 3)

Removal the central deflectors

1. Remove the radio receiver 1 (fig. 12.44). Remove ashtray 2.



2. Remove the screws (arrows A) and install the mounting ears upwards (arrows B) (fig. 12.45).



3. Lift the lower edge of the deflector and remove it at the same time (fig. 12.46). Disconnect the wiring connector from the hazard warning light switch.

Removal the front passenger side deflector

4. Remove the deflector using a screwdriver (arrows) (fig. 12.47).

Removal the driver's side deflector

5. Remove the light switch 1 (fig. 12.48).



6. Unscrew the screw (arrow) (fig. 12.49).

7. Remove the deflector using a screwdriver (fig. 12.50). Disconnect the wiring connector from the light switch and remove the deflector completely.

Installation

8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
